Strings For Acoustic & Electric Guitar On my electric
guitars I use GHS TNT boomers for strings. The TNT stands for thick
n thin which means the higher strings (e B G) are regular thin gauge
(for easier bending) and lower strings (D A E) are thick gauge for thicker
sounding riffs. If your not sure I would go with regular lite sets -
there are several by GHS and D'Addario. Earnie Ball also makes a good
light electric set, included below.
For acoustic guitar there are several good choices by Martin, D'Addario and Elixer. The D'Addario and Elixers cost more because they are treated with a protective coating which greatly extends the life of the strings (highly recommended). I also recommend that you get lite string sets for your acoustic guitar as I have chosen below:
