Tuners & Cables A standard guitar tuner means it will tune to EADGBe, but nothing else. A chromatic guitar tuner can tune to any note in the musical spectrum, sharps and flats. Chromatic tuners are much more useful because there will come a time when you will want to play in other tunings. If you have an acoustic guitar these tuners have built in mic's that pick up the sound from the sound hole, and one tuner comes with a clip for making this easy. Know How to Tune? Also included below are guitar cables of varying lengths. If you can afford it I highly recommend planet waves cables with circuit buttons, so you can plug your guitar in without popping your speakers! Planet waves cables are gold plated and are guaranteed for life by the company, whereas any other cable will last a year or two and eventually break, a planet waves can last forever:
Note: the BOSS tuner pedal is meant for tuning when playing with a band. |
