12-String Guitars

On a 12-string guitar, each string is doubled where the high e and B strings are the same gauge (unison) and the G, D A and E strings are smaller guage (octaves). A 12-string guitar has a shimmering full sound that can make the simplest of playing sound amazing. Most 12-string guitars are acoustic, but I have also included some double neck electric guitars below, where the top fretboard is a 12-string and the bottom fretboard is a 6-string. Think of how 12-string classics like Stairway to Heaven or Hotel California sound:

Note: Several of these guitars also plug into amplifiers!
